And then he was seven...

2016 has been another amazing and fun year for Alex and I. Yes, Alex turned 7 this year, which is mind-blowing. I turned...well...that doesn't matter. 

The year has been full of great trips with cousins, grandparents, and friends.  We've Jeeped all over the place; from our own neck of the woods (Tillamook ORV) to our first Moab, Utah trip. 

Alex is growing leaps and bounds, loving school (1st grade) and has lots of friends! Most of all, he loves spending time with his Papa and Nana. He is a lucky guy to have two great people, such as them, to learn from and be loved by. 

We spent some time at our new favorite fishing lodge in Alaska, this year. Chinook Shores in Ketchikan, Alaska. Operated by a really neat family. The fish count was low for the week we were there but it is a tremendous fishery.

We both hope your 2016 was as good as ours. Cheers to 2017!
