My iPad Must Have Apps!

I’m an early adopter, I pay more for items because I gotta have them before anyone and before the price drops from demand. I’m ok with this. The toys I acquire, I take pride in the fact that they are the first to come off the assembly line. Bugs and QC issues be damed!

Need Home Scanning Workflow Ideas

One of my goals this year is to get my document piles and clutter under control. Of course, I don’t plan on doing any of this to important “hard copy” items such as tax return reports. What I’m doing is creating a workflow for taking in invoices, receipts, and any other bits of paper I want to save yet not physically saving them. I want to open the envelope, see that I need to keep the bill or whatever, put it in a scanner and save it to a “MyBook” external hard drive. Where it will be indexed and retrievable via spotlight in Mac. Then shredding the actual file and recycling any other bits of paper that came with.
