Is Print Dead? Nope.
I miss print books. I buy mostly e-books so I can feed my ADD mind by having five going at once. Probably not the most effective way. I miss bookstores. There is something about the culture, smell, hustle, and hush of a bookstore. But, again, I buy mostly e-books now. With bookstores closing left and right, I would have thought that print was dying. It's not.
How I Get Ready for the Day
Lots of people say to me, "I don't know how you 'do it'." The 'do it' is: being a single Mom, CEO of a successful company, raise a great kid, produce good photography, etc. The answer is, I just do it. I may not do it well some days, and on other days I do it very well. The point is, I just do it.

Skitch & Evernote For Studying Photography
A few weeks ago I attended a great photography workshop by David duChemin (http://davidduchemin.com/) & the great folks of Craft & Vision. I've been to quite a few workshops over the years, but I can't put any of them near the quality of what David presents. Not only was it professionally run and smoothly executed, the content was concrete as well as inspirational. The workshop was The Created Image (http://craftandvision.com/the-created-image/). Again, I can't recommend this enough for when it comes around again.

His photographs act as brief but contemplative gazes, often packaging ironic or critical messaging into frames of beauty, humor or the everyday. Canons are his weapons of choice.
